All of Creation Adores You

Saturday, Baby and I were out and about running errands and such. He went inside Sears Hardware and I decided to review some pictures on my camera. As he was coming out of the store I put my hand outside the window, in an attempt to snap a surprise pic of him. Instead, I 'accidentally' took a picture of the sky. There is no such thing as coincidence and this was certainly no accident. The sky was absolutely beautiful! So, as we cruised down Highway 6, I snapped away. In fact, the only pictures I took on Saturday were of clouds, I did it all day long. These are some of my favorites.

By the time I got home, it had started sprinkling. It isn't very obvious in this picture but I was trying to capture the silver lining. It really does exist. I had no idea. The silver lining in Christ. So, you say things in your life aren't great. No money. No job. No friends. But the truth is when Christ is in your life, He provides all of our needs. Even the clouds, He provides clouds for a reason.

The first full week of every year is dedicated to spiritual growth at my church. We either have a revival, a conference, or prayer. This year, Rev. Rick Jordan returned for prayer. My God, this man is awesome. He teaches lessons on how to get your prayers answered. This year he focused on Interessory Prayer and Warfare Prayer. While he teaches he has people get in groups and pray. One night, he challenged us in a new way. In small groups, we were to decide how the S-U-N and the clouds provide for us. The sun provides heat, allows the plants to grow, vitamin D, so on and so forth. When we got to the clouds, it took people a little bit longer. The clouds produce rain (but rarely do we want the rain), it does provide shade (which is especially important in Texas), but beyond that what do clouds do for us. Whatever we came up with, we spent time in a prayer of praise...thanking God for His creations.

Remember when you were a child and you would lie on your back and gaze at the clouds? You'd identify a bunny in one and a truck in another. Why do we stop being in awe of God's creations? The truth is He made EVERYTHING for a reason (yes, even roaches...and that's one I haven't figured out yet). But take some time out to look at the clouds. What do you see? I see God's unchanging love. I see the sacrifice Christ made for us. I see the faces of friends and family who have passed on and are my Heavenly cheerleaders urging me through one battle after another...patiently waiting for me to join them. I see the possibility of eternity. Blessings, Meagan

I agree..GOD created everything for a reason..by design. GOD is the ultimate engineer his design is the most complicated important project in the world. It's amazing when you sit down and try to absorb it all...That first pic is the bomb
